Precision Breeding Techniques: CRISPR-Cas9 and Beyond in Modern Plant Improvement

Precision breeding techniques, particularly CRISPR-Cas9, have revolutionized modern plant improvement by offering highly targeted approaches to genetic modification. This review explores the advancements in precision breeding, focusing on CRISPR-Cas9 and its applications, as well as emerging techniques that promise to further enhance plant breeding.
